'Existence, well, what does it matter? I exist on the best terms I can. The past is now part of my future. The present is well out of hand.' Joy Division, Heart and Soul
Back in 1979 Joy Division had just released their debut album and were building up a cult following and dedicated fanbase. This beautifully designed print relates to a flyer for a concert they gave in October at Electric Ballroom, Camden Town, admission £2.50. Seven short months later the lead singer, Ian Curtis, committed suicide and Joy Division were no more. US Graphic Designer Mike Joyce combines his love of both Swiss Typographical design and the music genres of punk and hardcore indie to produce high quality prints which reflect the energy of the original flyers while remaining perfect for a contemporary setting.
Museum quality Epson print on enhanced matte cover stock, and printed with archival inks.
Size is 43 x 60 cm and comes unframed, rolled in a tube.
