'Do women have to be naked to get into the Met. Museum?'
For thirty years artistic collaborators the Guerrilla Girls have been using their art to create political discourse and to fight the patriarchy by producing powerful pieces through sound, performance and print. Their work 'Do Women have to be naked to get into the Met Museum' questions why there are a disproportionate number of female nudes to actual female artists on show at the Met Museum in New York. And in this instance, the words work just as well on a mug. Smashing sexism and the patriarchy during a tea break? We'll drink to that.
Bone china mug, dishwasher safe.
