Martin Luther King | The Law Cannot Make a Man Love Me Speech Print

Courage Creations

  • 'And so, though law may not change the hearts of men, it does change the habits of men if vigorously enforced, and through changes in habits, pretty soon attitudunal will take place and even the hearts may be changed in the process.'

Martin Luther King, Jnr gave an impromptu speech when accepting his honorary degree from Newcastle University in 1967. To coincide with the 50 years anniversary since this occasion and the group exhibition, Starless Midnight, showing at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, designers Courage Creative have produced this powerful print with an excerpt commemorating this speech. Using simple typographical design, the words are allowed to speak for themselves bringing all the more emphasis for it. Beautiful political artwork for your home or an office and a dedication to a great orator and iconic enforcer of peaceful protest, still as relevant today as in the 1960's.

Digital print, size A2. Rolled in a tube.
