Design team Dorothy are disappearing down quite the musical rabbit hole with this beautifully designed print as part of their Stamp Album collection.
Starting with what is believed to be the start of Post-Rock is the 1988 album by Talking Heads, Spirit of Eden. We then journey through a musical maze of Post-Rock bangers including Cul de Sac, Mogwai and Jesu. Basically if you love a band with an understandable name, spelt correctly this is not the poster for you! If, however, you love music with bands who embrace capital letters, lot's of accents over letters and numbers mixed in than you enjoy a genre that takes you down a much more cerebral path to post rock enlightenment.
This print unashamedly looks at some of the most exciting, experimental and divisive albums to be released in the last 30 years in the form of 42 postage stamps in a graphic style.
Each stamp features a graphic inspired by the album (or tracks on the album), the date of release, the label it was released on and its running time.
60 x 80cm, 4 colour litho with silver foil.
