Artist Susan Philipsz (b. 1965) is a Scottish artist who's work investigates the relationship between sound and architecture.
In Night and Fog, Philipsz deconstructs Hanns Eisler's music for Alain Resnais' 1955 film of the same name, referencing Peter Zumthor's architecture Kunsthaus Bregenz. It's a hardback book of 207 pages.
Susan Philipsz's exhibition, A Single Voice, is exhibiting at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead from 20th October 2017 - 4 March 2018.
