Trade the chill of the Quayside for the warmth of Baltic's sixth-floor rooftop. This winter, we'll be hosting a Festive Afternoon Tea, combining panoramic winter river views with seasonal treats.

On the menu are finger sandwiches with a seasonal twist, freshly baked scones with clotted cream & jam, plus a fanciful collection of cakes & pastries, all accompanied by fine teas, festive fizz or mulled wine all while looking out at the NewcastleGateshead skyline.

Please email hires@baltic.art before booking if you have any special dietary requirements or allergies. Due to the nature of this event, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate some requirements including vegan and gluten free.

The menu is included in the price of your ticket. Please arrive no later than 15mins after your chosen sitting time.

 

2026 Afternoon Tea Terms & Conditions

Should you need to cancel your booking this needs to be requested 5 days before the booking in order to receive a refund. The refund will be for the full amount of booking per person. If you wish to cancel with less than five days’ notice, you will only receive a 50% refund of each place booked.  

By booking places for this event, you accept these as the full and final terms and conditions. Baltic is a registered charity, and our commercial activities support our charitable objectives and keeping Baltic free entry.
