Colour, Play and Everything In-Between.

Baltic Shop is excited to collaborate with artist Andy Welland in Shop 2 this Spring, with a selection of works from Andy's studio combining chaos, form, colour and energy.

"My Loose Ends collage works are self-generating and an exploration of my own visual language in various degrees of volume, shape and form, micro or macro, simple to complex. I like to think of art as a space to inter-connect different ideas, expressions and thing together. Like grabbing two power cables and seeing what happens when you connect them, or plug them in the wrong way. This stepped display showcases a dynamic selection of works - one-off originals, studio experiments and editions - continually changing and evolving throughout the exhibition.' Andy Welland, March 2025.
