Once upon a time there was a band called Queen.
They came to fame in the 1970's, broke the internet after their Live Aid performance in 1985 before the internet was even a thing, carried on filling stadiums and releasing music throughout the late 80's and into the 90's until, heart breakingly, their charismatic lead singer Freddie Mercury passed away. However, they continued to stay relevant and loved, especially because of the seemingly yearly re release of Bohemian Rhapsody (thanks Wayne's World). Then there was a successful We Will Rock You West End Musical. Then a film called Bohemian Rhapsody came out and their popularity shot through the roof all over again culminating in the film winning an Oscar for Rami Malek who played Mercury himself. But despite all this, Queen never had their own bauble. Imagine; Freddie Mercury never featured on a hand painted glass Christmas sphere as he always should have - wearing his iconic yellow jacket and white jeans from his aforementioned legendary performance at Live Aid against a bright blue summer's day in 1985 - hanging from a Christmas tree during Christmas festivities. Until now. We like to think he's belting out 'We Will Rock(in' Robin) You' up there. You're welcome.
