Standing watch over the A1 in Gateshead, The Angel of the North is the most viewed and possible well known public sculpture in the North East.
Designed by Antony Gormley, the Angel has been represented in many ways but north east illustrator, Ben Holland, brings a new and interesting approach to depicting the sculpture in this pen and ink print. Splitting the Angel up into seven segments, each of a subtle, eye catching colour, gives the Angel an even more powerful presence and would make a great addition and pop of colour to any room whether located here in the north east of further afield. Created in a series along with the Tyne Bridge and Seven Ways to Cross the Tyne this limited edition print is a new take on an iconic look.
A3 sized, the giclee print is limited edition of 350 and is signed by the artist. The print comes unframed.
