From 1980-1985 Feminist artist Chicago looked at the universal female experience of giving birth, producing work for her Birth Project collaborating with needle workers throughout North America and creating large tapestries of dreamlike beauty and pain.

'The Creation' (1984) is being exhibited as part of the massive Judy Chicago survey at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art 16th November - 19 April and this 100% silk scarf is exclusive to BALTIC Shop.
