Strike a light, the Angel of the North is beautiful!
Finding inspiration from ornate Indian matchboxes, Newcastle born artist Sofia Barton takes aspects of her heritage and combines them with the local landscape and landmarks she loves. Here we have the mighty Angel of the North in colours so vivid, the Angel looks aglow from a bright sunset behind (the sun does come out in Gateshead now and again!)
